    He would have sold anyway. The chairman (Shepherd) was in hospital when Hall sold his shares to fatso.

    I'll leave all that for you to decide. We can't all live in Newcastle, but then again, do we have to? Do we need to?
    I get by quite well living 35 miles away and being a Newcastle fan for nearly 50 years.

    I think I'm qualified.

    By the time Ashley sells up, Any new owner may have to put in 250 Million on the squad just to keep up a mid table place. While we tread water everbody else will keep on investing.
