Thread: New team same problems

  1. #21
Bad day at office but no really put up nor doon to be honest. League is the priority. Butcher will be back for Partick game so massive bonus.

Cant help but feel the formation is still hurting us, Smith i feel is wasted as he's no a winger. We had zero width on Sunday, absolutely f uck all. A case of players having to suit a formation rather than a formation to suit the players and bring out the best in them.

It's really frustrating that we've bought a #10 that we know is great in that position, play him as a wide man then play a striker in that role.

Here’s my worry, and admittedly a view from afar
    Since we’ve been down
    3 different owners
    3 different management teams
    3 different squads
Still can’t win the big games that matter
Playoffs, 3 times this year we had the chance to go top, cup quarter finals.
    We keep blowing the chances.
Still playing fundamentally the same formation
Still playing players out of position
We were 8 points adrift of the top, we still are if County win their game in hand
Ok we have moved up to second, but that’s only cos Ayr have regressed.
So nothings really changed has it?

Some comedy stuff on here. Jimmy made a difference! Jimmy was every bit as bad as fyvie on Sunday. Waste of a wage, we never learn. Catchy tune tho.

I wont slate fyvie as there clearly is something not right. I fear for him but maybe he will come good again. Like it or not our most important part of the midfield jigsaw is butcher.

I am seeing in our play last 4 or 5 games we arent what i had thought we would be. In fact i am seeing signs of last two years.
