Yes thought he was in with a shout but has not had a great start at Ross County and was subbed at half - time in his second game after a nightmare first 45 minutes - 2 appearances since going north in January.

In all fairness to the lad County had 3 cup games over a two week period when Semple signed. Unfortunately for Semple he was cup tied in both cups.

He is at a club with a full squad of 22 players where he will have to establish himself. Rather than with us with 15 players.

lol anyways you might well see semple back you never know ,he is now up in scotland anyways and doesnt seem to be getting much game time up in dingwall ,there might be a chance county will want to loan him out next season ,and queens have been a tried and tested destination for him thats worked in his favour .
