O/T Tories"Institutionally Islamophobic" Claims former Conservative Party Chairperson

Baroness Warsi is claiming that Islamophobia is institutionally rife in the Conservative Party and that May is burying her head in the sand over the issue.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi...eporting-story

The Muslim Council of Britain said the level of prejudice within the party was "astonishing" and the claims should be independently investigated. "We've seen MPs, councillors and members engage in bigotry that should have no place in a modern Conservative Party," a spokesman said.

"Yet the constructive call by Muslim communities for an independent inquiry into the issue has been ignored again and again. Instead we hear excuses, denials and the responses we would expect when there is an institutional problem."

RP, nothing personal but where's the O/T on this post? There's far too many political posts that's drowning this site and that's not just from you.

Fair point Brin. Not used to starting OT posts you see. I'd really rather not have to but balance is important. Happy for Frogstar to amend obviously and will make sure that the 50 I have planned for tomorrow all have O/T :-)

We clearly don’t need O/T on these threads anymore seeing that they’re becoming very common on here.

    O/T for football related maybe?

    You're correct about that.
