    I can't see him making a success of Debenhams especially if he goes cheapo which is a trait he can't resist. And with the upsurge of internet shopping, falling sales in most High Streets and the demise of some big established names, it wouldn't surprise me if he gets his fingers burnt.

    I will gladly look forward to that.

    Ashley couldn't give a fuc k aboot the high street,all this complaining about rents being too high is just a smoke screen.

    He is building a British Amazon,he has all the facilities in place at the centre of his universe which is shirebrooke..

    He won't be getting his fingers burned anytime soon...
