    ..... is a headless chicken.

We better not be paying top dollar to get him on a permanent basis.

Found out now unfortunately after a decent start.

If he was missing loads of chances I'd agree with you but we are creating nothing for him.

Been fkn awful for a wee while now..... and by the way no one is going to miss loads of chances for us because we DON'T fkn shoot.

Agree with Whitfield to a point but then who has been good for us recently? I think he can score us plenty of goals but we are definitely not making any good chances for him on a regular basis. My only gripe with him as a player is he seems to be out wide too much instead of in the box where ha can be effective(probably because we have no wingers running into the channels drgaging defences out of shape and our full backs cant get forward enough either to put balls into the box)
Similar type to big John Daly but big difference in supply when you think of all the superb balls he had fed into the box from likes of Dickers, Conway, Swanson,Kova etc

edited to say....you only have to look at Clark who is usually prolific in this league, pens aside I have not seen many clear cut chances for him either. Got to feed the strikers simple as that!!

Safranko I believe is being hyped up a little because of his work rate. He missed plenty when aird was pinging them in but would like to see him have more service and support. Still a very important player for us.

Another big problem for the strikers is ALL our offensive/creative play is in front of the oppositions defence and sitting mids, we very rarely get in behind or turn defenders! Wingers drag defenders out of position, create space for others and cause defenders to backtrack facing their own goal which can give our strikers half a yard....no rocket science is it?

That is spot on Eamon. Probably because all our players played wide recently aspire to be central or no10s! Pawlett, McM, C Smith, Nesbitt even Matty Smith

We are far too slow getting forward, build up play is pedestrian and we give ball back to the back four far too often.

Let’s opposition get 10 behind the ball far too often.

And other sides know it so wait and pick us off.

Two posts there that sum up why we are easy prey at times. I would add then we start pumping ball up and it just comes straight back at us. Surely we have quality to cause major issues. We do at times until 18 yards out. No overlaps no drive nor fast balls into 6 yard line. And McMullan is the worst crosser of a ball as a winger since Walter Rojas

How do we fit all the pieces together to provide Safranko and Clark with the chances to win games? Even the players who can be fitted in have goals in them, but what is the best combination from Butcher, Bouhenna, Pawlett, Stanton, Smith, McMullan, Harkes, Nesbitt, Robson, Booth and Seaman to give us half a chance?
