    Mbemba

Where is everyone now that criticised Rafa for getting rid.Cant get in the Porto team and his fitness and attitude have been questioned.
Seems Rafa was right.Especially as Schar,Lascelles and Lejuene are fairly solid at the back.

    Is he not still injured?

Either way, Rafa is looking correct on his call. Which is a damn sham cos Mbemba has a lot of solid attributes that could and should make him a great defender.

Feel sorry for Fernandez sitting on the sidelines waiting for an opportunity but it's hard not to pick the current three.

There will come a time for him with injuries, loss of form etc.

True enough although I think I'd actually go for Fernandez ahead of Lascelles.

And last time I said that about Fernandez and Schar, Schar scored...so get your money on Lascelles.

    "Everyone" seems a tad harsh...

One of them is banned, and the other one has just returned after a self imposed exile (hoyed his toys oot the pram)...

To be fair this was one I thought Rafa had got wrong...

Every manager gets some things wrong, I'm glad that he proved me wrong! Haha.

I liked him and he was very good in his first season but wouldn't swap him for any of our current lot bar possibly Clark.

Even then, Clark has the better attitude it would seem so probably brings more to the squad.

Yeah, I agree really hence the possibly. Mbemba has more natural talent but Clark has really never let us down and gives his all.
