    Ben Purrington

According to the grapevine he was sent out on loan because he was a dyed on the wool defensive left back and Warne wanted more attacking full backs
Well from what I’ve just seen in the Charlton/Pompey match he’s pretty much playing a left wingers role and set up the Charlton goal.

Good addition when he comes back. That’s if he wants too.

I see Clarke-Harris was on the score sheet again.

Saw a couple of Wimbledon FA Cup games on tv, when he was on loan to them earlier. He was getting forward more in those games too, although not against Championship level opposition

It's a lot easier to bomb forward in div one as the opposition don't hit back with the speed or quality in the Cship

Obviously PW doesn't think he can do that effectively in our div

Never got forward once for Wimbledon against us at Oakwell .

That said defensively he was pretty sound that day .

Looks a tidy player and a bit surprised you have him out on loan in all honesty .

The W'don FA Cup game that he scored in was away against Halifax Town - good goal
