I saw that photo on a go fund me site, didn’t realise he was the unfortunate lad.

Thoughts are with his family, hope justice is done.

    Interesting photo is that one.

The BBC have used it on the Look North news, but they cropped the photo so you couldn’t see the picture was taken at the NYS.

    Why bother?

Maybe they don’t want to involve football

Maybe but somebody took the trouble of doing it. When leaving it as it is would have served the same purpose ie showing the lad's face.

Listening to football heaven tonight and Bri the Miller wanted to talk about this incident first. According to SYP they have stated it is not football related, however, Bri reckoned it involved Sheff Utd fans, who's telling the truth?

I heard that too Brin. Don’t suppose we'll ever know, probably just get bits of rumours and hearsay.

There’s a shrine to him now on Bridgegate. The tree outside the post office is decked out in millers shirts, scarfs, flags and flowers.

Loyal, I suppose it will eventually out but as of now, maybe SYP want a cap on it until all investigations and charges follow.

Hearing the ones, allegedly, attacking him are Maltby connected, and he was connected to section 22 hooligan gang. Also, was Ireland playing in the rugby that afternoon?
