    The non sending off

Right then. When D!ckford took Rondon out it was basically an open goal. More to the point, it wasn't an attempted tackle (which is a where the double jeopardy rule comes in, I thought i.e. not punishing a team twice)...it was a rugby tackle to deliberately stop a goal.

Anyone explain why he wasn't sent off or at the very least booked? Anywhere else on the pitch it would have been a yellow at least.

Or was the ref just sh!te?

After the incident I kept looking thinking I had missed the part where the ref handed him a card wondering if it was red or yellow, I was blown away when I realized he got away with it. The ref was just sh!te Zip.

Mind, he didn't exactly cover himself in glory for our first two goals so it turns out the ref may have inadvertently done us a favour!

According to Shearer he wasn't making an attempt for the ball so double jeopardy doesn't count.Should have walked. But as Jon Anderson said on radio Newcastle, just as well the mackem mutant stayed on as he was sh1te.
