What can get done about sectarianism though? How much resources should be pumped into trying to identify everyone of large groups that sing something that some people find offensive?

Then there is the argument of what is offensive? Is shouting '*****s' at celtic fans offensive? What about the jimmy saville one?

Point scoring over *****phillia is not on IMO.
*****philia is the most abhorrent, heinous crime there is.
    Worse than murder.
I don’t mind abusing Tims about being “victims” “ambulance chasers” “soap dodgers” etc...but not the ***** stuff.

    Leave that to the huns.

Religious bigotry is regrettably rife in Scottish football but for Aberdeen to be singled out given the poisonous and enduring bigoted chants, en masse, from the Old Firm over the last few decades is quite frankly appalling.

Itís all part of the Ďlook, theyíre just as bad!í deflection tactic.

Scotland are a long long way away from moving on from sectarianism.

    Its a f:cking disgrace.
Milne HAS to stand up for the club on this and take legal action or f:ck off and let someone else do it.
For AFC to become a scapegoat over this issue would be a travesty.

Itís not against the law to be offensive. Offence is taken by many people for many different things. You canít be called out for just being offensive - itís got to have a context that takes it into the realms of illegality.

The píaedo / saville stuff is certainly distasteful & unpleasant & Iíd imagine Timothy are greatly offended by it the poor wee petals, but itís not illegal.

Bigoted, sectarian singing is illegal. Big difference.

Top trumps whataboutery from Timothy again though - victim FC in full flow.

We as a club will take it right up the arse & say nothing as usual of course. Another nail in the coffin of my enthusiasm for AFC & Scottish fitba...

Why? They are in denial about the going on's at their youth team and nothing wrong with reminding them off it until they stop sweeping it under the carpet and admit it

I'm sure the victims are pleased with us singing about it.

Twice we have been accused of it in a couple of months. Someone speak up about it. Or sit and suck it up. Pretty sure i know which option will be chosen

He’s a jam boy for the OF.

You cannot wear a wig that bad for years & expect to be taken seriously by anyone. Top reds not included of course.

Breach of the Peace is defined as "conduct severe enough to cause alarm to ordinary people and threaten serious disturbance to the community", so there's two tests to be satisfied here, namely the degree and nature of the conduct and the threat of serious disturbance. If there is a bigoted aspect that could be deemed an "aggrevation" to that particular offence.

Is Anti Social Behaviour not also used when people cite they are subjected to harassment, alarm and distress.
I think these are specific words in legislation which allow a vague subjective view on a person's actions.

Plenty scope for the bobbies to do what they want when they want there then.

Won't somebody think of the children.

Better close all fitba grounds worldwide & ban all spectating at all matches on public parks immediately.

Its the only way. All for the public good - ken.

Of course, we could just let the EPL guffball tourist waanks turn up with their selfie sticks & half & half scarves from now on & nobody else - that'll do the trick...

In any court of law, how could any QC prove that what the AFC fans chanted was directed at Celtic FC and/or their fans? Was Celtic FC at any time adjoined to the chant?

Was it fcuk, so Celtic FC can get ti fcuk.
