Their statement is why nothing will get done about sectarianism. Whataboutery. Blaming each other just brushes it under the carpet.

What can get done about sectarianism though? How much resources should be pumped into trying to identify everyone of large groups that sing something that some people find offensive?

Then there is the argument of what is offensive? Is shouting '*****s' at celtic fans offensive? What about the jimmy saville one?

*****philia is the most abhorrent, heinous crime there is.
Worse than murder.
I don’t mind abusing Tims about being “victims” “ambulance chasers” “soap dodgers” etc...but not the ***** stuff.

It’s not against the law to be offensive. Offence is taken by many people for many different things. You can’t be called out for just being offensive - it’s got to have a context that takes it into the realms of illegality.

The p’aedo / saville stuff is certainly distasteful & unpleasant & I’d imagine Timothy are greatly offended by it the poor wee petals, but it’s not illegal.

Bigoted, sectarian singing is illegal. Big difference.
