( B T ): What's your answer when rockets are fired into Israel? What should Israel do ? Send over to the strip, pink balloons with ''we love you '' written on them?

IDF strikes Gaza after rocket fire on Tel Aviv area
Airstrikes follow Netanyahu's consultations with senior defense officials; both Hamas and Islamic Jihad deny firing rockets at central Israel; sirens sound in Israeli communities near Gaza border ''Hamas and Islamic Jihad deny firing''....who's in charge of those fanatics ?
    also......

A rocket fired at the Eshkol Regional Council from the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday landed in the coastal enclave, failing to reach Israeli territory. ' Look guys the direction you want is north ,north ,east - OK.

As Gazans protest cost of living, Hamas could use Israel strike as diversion
Demonstrators refrain from calling for overthrow of Hamas government, opting to focus primarily on the high cost of living in the coastal enclave; although terror group appears to be in control, it might initiate confrontation with Israel if protests expand in scope.
In an unusual turn of events, hundreds of Palestinians took to the streets of the Gaza Strip on Thursday in order to protest the high cost of living in the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave. Sources in the Strip believe Hamas might initiate a military confrontation with Israel in order to ensure the social-justice phenomenon doesn't expand in scope.
The source added they don’t believe the Hamas leadership will be pressured by the protest. "Hamas is in complete control of the situation and understands how to deal with it,” said the source, adding that Hamas might initiate a confrontation with Israel in order to divert the attention of the general population if the protests spread.

"Hamas is in complete control of the situation and understands how to deal with it,” for sure they do, just shoot them !!!!

ISRAEL STRIKES 100 GAZA TARGETS AFTER HAMAS AIMS ROCKETS AT TEL AVIV.

IDF warplanes, combat helicopters and aircraft attacked some 100 terrorist targets of the Hamas terrorist organization throughout the Gaza Strip overnight and Friday morning, according to the IDF spokesperson.

Among the terrorist targets was the offices of the Hamas headquarters in the Rimal neighborhood in central Gaza City.

The headquarters is responsible for directing terrorist operatives of the Hamas terrorist organization in Judea and Samaria by carrying out terror attacks, building terrorist infrastructures, transmitting terrorist activity directives, transferring money and responding to terrorist attacks against Israel and Israeli citizens.

Hamas know what will be coming back at them BT, what they are doing in effect is attacking Israel and then using their own children as human shields. It beggars belief, what sort of people are they that will do that ? And what sort of delusion causes lefties to act as their shills for these subhuman tactics.

I think it has something to do with this "Muslim Martyrdom" malarkey sinkov. Quite a few of them got sent to look for their share of virgins in Christchurch last night.
Good luck with that one, I spent about 6 years from 1968-74 looking for just one virgin in Burnley and had no luck whatsoever!

B T : First according to what you ask, who are kids? The 3 to 5 year olds ,or the 5 to 13 years,or maybe the 13 to 19 year olds?
But in this round just about 6 people were injured, maybe one had a scatch? Who knows the truth there ?

For weeks the international media has reported on violence on the border between Gaza and Israel. Hamas has continued to lie to the world, which is why their rare acknowledgments of truth are especially revealing. Hamas spokesmen raced to the press last week to lament the death of innocent civilians . But a senior Hamas leader, Salah Bardawil, said in a May 16 interview with a Palestinian TV station: “In the last round of confrontations, if 62 people were martyred, 50 of them were Hamas.” Hamas itself has confirmed that 80% of those killed in their violent riots last Tuesday were members of a terrorist group, not innocent civilians. Several more of the fatalities were claimed by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. On May 13, Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, a co-founder of Hamas, said in an interview with Al Jazeera: “When we talk about ‘peaceful resistance,’ we are deceiving the public.” You can only trust Hamas when they admit to their lies.

The Hamas spokesmen orchestrated a well-funded terrorist propaganda operation. Behind the theatrics was a plan that threatened Israel’s border and civilians. Hamas provided free transportation from throughout the Gaza Strip to the border for innocent civilians, including women and children. Hamas hired them as extras, paying $14 a person or $100 a family for attendance—and $500 if they managed to get injured. Hamas forced all of their commanders and operatives to go to the border dressed as civilians, each serving as a director of an area—as if to direct their own stage of the operation.

The audience was the international media. Hamas gave anyone with a video camera front-row access to the show and free Wi-Fi. The IDF had precise intelligence that the violent riots were masking a plan of mass infiltration into Israel in order to carry out a massacre against Israeli civilians. Hamas called it a “peaceful protest,” and much of the world simply fell for it. It wasn't fake news, it was simply fake.

The idea that this was a peaceful protest is the biggest lie of all, because the basic tenets required for a protest in a democracy like the U.S. or Israel do not exist in Gaza. Under Hamas’s control, there is no freedom of speech, no freedom of assembly, no freedom of religion, no freedom of the press. There can be no such thing as a peaceful protest in Gaza, only gatherings organized, sanctioned and funded by Hamas.

In multiple assaults on the border this spring, Hamas has used machine guns, Molotov cocktails, airborne improvised explosive devices and grenades. Hundreds of Gazans have tried to blow up or tear down the fence between Gaza and Israel, with the intention of infiltrating our sovereign territory and reaching innocent Israelis who live minutes from the border. On April 6, the Hamas political leader, Yahya Sinwar, stated: “We will take down the border [with Israel] and we will tear their hearts from their bodies.” On Facebook Hamas posted maps for their operatives showing the quickest routes from the border with Israel to Israelis’ homes, schools, and day-care centers near the border. Doesn’t that sound like violence to you?

Hamas can lie—to the world, to Palestinians and to their own commanders and operatives—but I am proud that the IDF will never lie or use Israeli civilians or soldiers as pawns. Some of Israel’s greatest friends might have preferred that we had looked better in the media this past week, but between vanity and truth, the IDF always chooses truth. It is that morality that sustains the IDF. The uniformed professional soldiers of the IDF may not photograph well compared with terrorists disguised as civilians—but we are honest about what we are and what we say. As the IDF spokesman, if I cannot source and cite material, I will not allow it to be published. I will not release any statement if the facts are in doubt.

( Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis is the spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces. )

Here is a report from the day before the alleged rocket attack.

    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/middl...173734408.html

The current situation is ongoing and seemingly unending with bad stuff happening on both sides.
Perhaps the incidents on Tuesday sparked the attack on Wednesday? And so on and so on.

I feel sorry for you and the Israeli people to have to live in this situation Balam - and I feel sorry for the Palestinians having to live in their situation. The politicians have made a right royal mess of your area - even worse than our politicians on Brexit.
