    O/T "Congratulations you have won" message on mobile phone

    If you get such a message do not click ok
    Message is embeded
    Look for an unfamiliar app in your apps list & delete it

    Yeah I've been getting that message and only comes up as I click onto footymad,flashing advert with a clock timing down,is it the same one?

    Suffice to say that these scammers will no doubt have different ways of scamming
    The point of my post was to bring to the attention of all on here to beware of messages of the type "congratulations you have won"
    & don't be drawn into clicking "OK" even though that option is the only one on the screen
    I repeat, look on your apps list for one that seems unfamiliar & uninstall it
    If you uninstall the wrong one you can always reinstall
    If you're not sure, pop into your service provider phone shop for advice

    A keep gerrin robot voice calls on mi landline in a SE Asian accent telling me if a dunt pay a £72 connection fee my BT Broadband will be cut off that day. Ironically they call a few days later telling me the same thing.

    Itz cost me a fortune in £72 's up to nar.

    Following on Exiles post , HMRC scams , today my wife received a phone call , asking her to contact our solicitors/lawyers was the term they used , unpaid income tax , they even left a voicemail , which on hearing again is quite threatening , DON'T call them back , report to your Bank and line provider, even mobile numbers are now being targeted , "Keep safe and well" was their last words ,
    Don't let these Bastuds take your hard earned money

    Messages like this appear in my spam mail I just delete them
