Never done that before in my life.

Last race at Cheltenham, paid four places. I had four selections all same stakes e/w, they came in 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th.

Not being greedy but it would have been better had they been in the reverse order.

Still enough to take the Good Lady for a slap up nosh and some more.

Yes Early Days was 5/1 with the bookies and 7.5 on Betfair. Just shows the difference as the fourth horse was 14/1 with the bookies but 23.0 on Betfair.

The bookies make a packet taking money on course and sending it back on Betfair. That's why they operate with a third man these days and have a big smile on their faces even if they are paying out £thousands.

    Nice work, Pat.

My understanding of horse racing is virtually zero. And by that, I mean approaching zero from the other side.

You are not alone Zippity. 95% of the "experts" in any bookmakers in the High Street lose, and when they do win they stay until they lose and then they go home and tell porkies.

Four careers where you never see a poor operator, bookmaker, surgeon/dentist, solicitor and undertaker. And the only one you don't need is the first one.
