All things not a bad day at all.
We started the day 9 points off the automatic second spot...and now we are only 7 points...
W e have rode our luck a bit...our forwards have stopped scoring, well Gayle has. Perhaps JRod should start giving him some stick....
Johnstone seems to have had two very decent games on the trot as well....

We were very solid at the back and Hegazi was immense as ever. To be hoest after the break we were never troubled. Johansen and Brunt were comfortable while GYLE always made them look distracted. All in all as good a 1-0. as you could hope for.

We played resonably well - but esp I never felt afraid that they were scoring, a bit like Stoke away. We were controlling the game, and a very good day out! 😊🍻

Agree with your assessment I thought we played the conditions really well particularly in the 2nd half, a fantastic goal by Edwards and their keeper made some good saves afterwards a very good result against a team that had won 7 on the trot at home.
