No doubt some won't like the wit
disappointing yes, but four points from the last two games is going in the right direction, the lads at least put in the effort even if the quality was lacking. Morecambe are a big ugly type of side, missed Stead and O'Brien, Exeter is winnable.
Morecambe are a League 2 type of side - and we never looked like breaking them down. 1 shot on target again and 9 off target, which we have got to improve on.
Next week brings a new type of challenge against Exeter, who will presumably be more attack-minded than Morecambe were today.
I'd still make us third favourites to stay up in a three-horse race, but hopefully we'll deliver another full-blooded performance next week after a week to rest Doyle and hopefully get O'Brien fit (that disgusting challenge on him in the 95th minute at Carlisle rankles even more now).
