    Alan Martin suspended

Alan Martin suspended for 1 game by the club after the "incident" at HT in the ICT match.
it`s well documented that i`m not his biggest fan but good to see him apologise and agree with the club time to draw a line under the event and move on.

With the Ayr game having been postponed how does this work now?

I can only assume that throughout the week during training he wasn't involved as heavily in the drills etc in preparation for the game. He would have very much been on the sidelines and the others would be aware of that. For me this is probably enough of a punishment now rather than carrying it over to the next game.

Yes I did wonder exactly that. I expect Jack to start the next game but who knows.
Anyway I`m going to start the positivity by pointing out that when we play our next game at Tannadice on 30th March it will be 3 weeks without losing a game.

I've just read the statement on the official site and I think Martin has accepted that he behaved inappropriately (although he also gave a valid reason why)

We now need to draw a line under the whole sorry affair and move on.

An unusual stance for the club to take but this appears to have been dealt with professionally enough.

Well most clubs deal with this internally and therefore not going public with it....

Wonder if the individuals responsible for dishing out the abuse will also receive some kind of action ?

I'd rather see him playing tbh - love him or hate him he's the best we have
