The most memorable Albion match you didn't attend........

For me it was Albion v Forest, 1st September 1979. I got married that day at 3.15. Before I entered the registry office I flicked the car radio on. Albion were 1-0 up. We ended up losing 5-1! Birtles scored 4.
Nevertheless I managed to enjoy the rest of the day.
In second place would be the 1968 cup final. I got to watch that on TV so I did see the game.

    Wolves 1-5 WBA.

I was offered a ticket and couldn't go because I was out of the country. Ended up watching it on a grainy tv channel in an empty bar with foreign commentary. Couldn't believe what I was watching and was gutted I wasn't there.

Albion v Swansea play off second leg. Went to the first leg but could not go to the return as I had an important college night I could not miss. Everyone I speak to says the atmosphere was the best ever and the crowd really was up for it.

    I missed that one too.

Couldn't do many away days that season.

Watched the game in the Three Tuns in Sutton, Prando was in there too apparently.

Place was packed with Albion, tremendous atmosphere in there that day.

I was serving in Germany at the time and missed that one too, missed the play off final as well.

Didn't have my leave cleared until the Friday night and couldn't get a ticket on the Saturday.

Turns out I could have used a now former pal's girlfriend's ticket.

Watched it on TV at my brother in law's house.
