That is like choosing to either jump off a high building or to step in front of an express train; either way it is suicide.

The latest manufacturing PMI figures are out and it’s more grim reading for Merkel with the Eurozone’s index falling to 47.5 in March – firmly in contraction territory and the lowest level since April 2013. Germany is rapidly becoming the sick man of Europe, its reading of 44.1 is the worst since the crisis days of 2012…

Meanwhile the UK’s own manufacturing index has surged to a 14-month high of 55.1, coming in far ahead of the forecast of 51.2

It might be suicide to stay in. If Germany hits recession and a fair few economists think it might, Italy will be another Greece all over again and just watch the euro fail as it won’t survive another illegal bailout

The idea that the UK can triumph over all adversity on its own is just a fallacy. If we leave the EU we will be on our own. When was the last time we triumphed without foreign assistance? I’m not running down this country, just trying to be realistic. I’m afraid that Brexiteers are talking rubbish, heads buried deep in the sand.

God help us if Bonkers Boris ever lands the job!
KB, you know you can't come on this board with your good sense, logic and reason!

So the 16m people who voted to remain don't get a voice at all then, despite remain leading in the latest polls.

Democracy at its finest right there...

Would you say that the remain option commands more national support than May's deal?

If the answer to that is yes, then how can that be a democratic vote...

You are just trying to block a viable option for people to vote on. That is the opposite of democracy.
