Wun things fo sure, if we go up, we'll not be "going crazy" and spending millions on players wi Championship experience.
This is the thing isn't it and none more so at championship level .

Who controls the recruiting process ?

Nobody at the club seems to recognise the obvious flaw to this plan at championship level just as they don't understand how depleted the squad has become this season in league one .

To have only one real recognised striker chasing promotion and not doing " The What If " when Moore was fit shows that you'd be hard pressed to have any confidence in the decision makers on Grove Street .

An insight in to their logic is the signing of Jordan Green in January .

Now Jordan may well prove to be a very good signing but not at this time and certainly not at championship level either .

Quite how that replaced the void left by the sale of Potts is anybody's guess .

It's the same when Pinnock does eventually leave , his replacement needs to be equally as good or the squad becomes weaker and so forth .

It seems fairly common sense to me to view this any other way .

You can't weaken the squad and expect to be successful , success would be judged on getting promoted from League One and retaining our championship status and little more than that if we are to be realistic .

I think a lot of emphasis is put on individual players when really it’s how the team click together and that’s Sod’s law trying to get the mix right.

We thought the promotion side last time were all great players who’d go on to do good things but non of them really did much when the side which was pushing for the playoffs was broken up and then the rest left at the end of the season. That’s proved they were nothing special but just clicked as a team.

Sometimes the teams you don’t expect to do much just gel and fly

But..but.. I thought this current Barnsley side were a super team with a great manager ready to sweep all before it in your majestic unstoppable rise to the top end of the Championsip. What with mega wealthy owners and all that.

As for Behre Bahre whatever his name is you can understand his undying love for the club, lads desperate for a job
