Thought Robson was underused in the 1st half but excellent in the 2nd half. Don't know why we're still on this thread though?? We didn't win ugly today, that was a hell of an improvement on Tuesday albeit against an more inferior team. Thought we played some good stuff today with spatterings of not so good.

Hmm, I would have said we played not great with spatterings of good stuff. But at least it's an improvement from no spatterings at all.

First half was terrible. Second was a huge improvement with the substitutes making a big difference. Pawlett made a real impact but the change of bringing Harkes on (once he settled) meant we could dominate possession with purpose. Before that we had loads of possession but going nowhere.

Yep, first half was dreadful, pawlett made a massive difference because unlike cammy Smith he looks to go forward with the ball. Harkes probably should've started because just like Tuesday Stanton couldn't pick out a tangerine shirt if his life depended on it.
Mcmullen was back to his usual invisible self as well.
Points all that matters though, let's hope luck carries us through the last 7 games.

Stanton and his phantom passing can GTF - he was weak link in much of what we did

another thing Stanton won no aerial battles i counted 6 headers won by harkes in a 5 min spell - he reads it well peels of forward to win ball. Havin stanton there passing to white shirts and not competing just allowed any potential of a break away goal
