14.6M profit they say mainly down to the sell off and lease back of the ground.

Staff costs 11M more than turnover which is something that is not sustainable but ought to see us within FPP rules if I've read it correctly.

That should stave off any points deduction based on the leaked info from that EFL meeting at the ****ty Ground

I guess I'm a cynic then, although I'm not sure where the idea that we have sold Moor Farm is. Pride Park ground, yes.......

Still I will keep powder dry until I see the real accounts, not the club's spin on them

Take the ground as payment in kind at a value? Then charge the club rent that it can't afford. Coventry mark 2.

Take the ground and knock it down for development, let the Club ground share in Nottingham 😭. Or ground share at PP with the trees to reduce costs, then the council can knock their ramshackle shed down for redevelopment.

Options all seem bleak, time for a Russian oligarch perhaps, or a small Middle Eastern country to invest. Daesh County anyone? New chairwoman SB.

Call me simple but why would Mel do that, he'd be cutting his nose off, Coventry was slightly different in that the council bought the Ricoh and rented it back, they owed no favours to CCFC

If Mel sells up (the Club that is), then he too owes no favours to the new owners of DCFC either, save that no doubt he would (a) remain a fan and (b) still be looking to get a shed load of his loans to Sevco back.

Plus the added advantage is that he managed to transfer extra value into the club this year by revaluing the stadium etc on sale, to market value, and thus "paying" above book value for it.

You are assuming then that the new owners would only be buying the club not the ground.............would there ever be such an buyer?

Geoff surely anyone who buys the club will only be doing it if the rental terms are acceptable to them Morris has paid £80 million for the ground Not over the top clubs are paying over £100mill for 20,000 seat stadiums now days Plus if he wants to sell he's on prime land at P,park
