It's a dog eat dog world is footy.

i don't remember many Bolton/Rovers/Leeds/Preston fans wishing us well before the Orient game - no doubt most of them were hoping for our demise.

Bolton in a bad state, Birmingham deducted points and Derby and Villa are both under investigation.
No fans really know what is happening in the background at any club and, as 59_60 says, it is definitley dog eats dog.
Interesting that Portsmouth had big problems and are rebuilding, Birmingham have now suffered ---is there a common denominator?

I see that Harry has already distanced himself from the Birmingham problems, saying that it was not him who signed lots of players --mind you, the dog has been very quiet about it!
I forgot to mention that Sheffield Wednesday are also on the radar.

Surely Rovers must be in the frame for all their spending.

There certainly is a common denominator. It is money,or lack of.That is why we keep the bolts firmly closed on the dry powder room.
Difficult balance in trying to field a decent team and stay solvent unless you are one of the big 6 or have a billionaire owner.

Bassini in frame to take over.A very dubious character who used to own Watford before he went bankrupt.

Anderson would sell his soul to the devil to make a fast buck. Bassini will not pass the EFL "fit and proper person test" though!

It's ultimately what happens when you live beyond your means. Remember when Jay Jay Okocha was on £80k a week?

    No sympathy>
