Agree with the point that our ones for the future almost always tend to fade into obscurity, but of all the young players we've had recently Crawford was the one I was most excited about, mainly because he's already cut his teeth in the hustle and bustle of non league.
Yesterday Stallard was talking about Mitch Rose making late runs into the box ala Ryan Yates, but realistically Rose is just a destroyer. Crawford on the other hand would've been worth a try in our new look midfield (which isn't constantly overrun like earlier in the season).
