Modern day football doesn’t suit scotland

Things will not improve, we are finished. I feel sorry for the kids, in my day kids all over Scotland had 4 excellent teams to look up to, and they were full of star players, some of who did not get into the national team such was the competition. Kids day dreaming they were Mccoist, Kevin Gallagher, Mo Johnstone, Willie Miller, Etc

We need a few yeamsnin thebenglish leagues in my opinion. It hasn’t done the Welsh national team any harm having a couple of teams in there. How is it ok for them and not us?

But why does modern football not suit Scottish players? They play in different teams under different managers like every international side in the world. Do they believe that they don't have to play to their best possible abilities every time they play for their country? The days are long gone for teams to be treated as walk overs because we have never heard of their players.

Do we forgive and forget poor displays too easily? Are the SFA scared of sacking some managers?
