No pleasure in it, Seventwo, but at least a much better performance.
When I saw the line-up, I thought there weren't enough defence-minded players in it, to be honest!
I remember we were in line to get that McGinn last summer. Pity we didn't!

I thought we played much better. We all know by now what our main issues are, highlighted again today. 2 poor goals to give away. Mulgrew was the reason. Again. Ok we have his set pieces, but he's costing us more at the back.
Dack really was poor today, I'm actually glad he got hooked. We played much better once he went off. Armstrong is the biggest disappointment this season. He had to score that easy chance. Did absolutely nothing again. He has to be dropped in place for Chapman. Or Rothwell. Or even Butterworth. One of the main plus points today was Brereton. Who looked direct, and more confident. If we play like that vrs Stoke we'll get something.

I'd be tempted to keep Armstrong in against Stoke. He's just not much use in games where we are under pressure. Agreed - not much from Dack in this game.
Stoke are not very good at scoring, so I am hoping it will be a game where we are on the front foot.

I'm sick to death of Armstrong. He has been a complete let down. He isn't good enough for this league. He is a good Div1 player. Brereton will hopefully click soon. And Chapman has to get in the side ahead of him. He is just very average. And disappears when we need him. Dack has just been found out. For now. I'm hoping he uses this to get better. He could be a good Champ player. But needs to learn. It's very clear he isn't that £15m player. We would struggle to get £4/5m for him. So id keep him. And hope he improves next season. And doesn't disappear in Jan.
