    Word of warning ⚠️

Fantastic result tonight. It’s starting to get interesting and just hope there can be the end to the season that we are all dreaming of which is the title.

The club is obviously now set up to be in the higher division with the cost on coaching, players and support.

We cannot risk the play offs and another year in this division.

Important though not to underestimate the challenge and what we need to achieve in wins to get the title.

If we win all our matches then with their better goal difference Ross Co would only need 2 points per match average to still finish ahead of us - they have averaged over 2 points per match so far.

There is still no margin for error - we need to keep picking up wins. Win on Saturday and then absolutely must win in the big one up in Dingwall. After that the need is to get the title race in our own hands ASAP

We have had our period of single goal wins now - would be nice if we could start winning by more but winning is what it is all about.

We have got the best squad now in this division just hoping that they can deliver the title 🙏

    Come on United!!!!

I still feel that the loss of Billy McKay for Dross County will play a significant part in this yet...............

If we could just play in front of poor crowds and never on tv, no problem. Robbie has to sort that ability to go on the pitch with the weight of big game expectation on you, the tv cameras on you, and deliver

I’m hoping that was all just coincidence with the cameras.

We were really poor v ICT but credit to John Robertson I think he had worked us out a bit from the midweek match before

The Friday night in Dingwall is big and the players we have will be up for it. The better players should perform at the big matches and we have the better players compared to Ross Co

Important win tonight for 2 reasons.

If Ayr were to win their games in hand they would still be 3 points behind us.
Increasingly it's looking like Ayr v ICT in the first playoff
Alloa are only 3 points adrift so will fight hard on Saturday, you never know...

County are already struggling with injuries and suspensions which wont help them when they play Saturday, Tuesday, Friday, Tuesday.

We've managed to come out of it without much problem (few minor injuries but nothing major)
County dont have the squad to lose anymore players. That's why i'm hopeful that they wont be able to capitalize on any of the games in hand as these games will come thick and fast for them without much recover time.

3 games which could take alot out of their squad. Alloa will fight for everything which weve seen, ICT- a derby and will be a battle of who could kick eachothers players more then a Massive title game which could go a long way to decide who wins league.

If they dont pick up any injuries during these games ill be very surprised.

So few matches left it’s the points gained that will matter (goal difference was gone a long time ago). Heart and desire and getting the wins what will matter.

Ross Co definitely don’t have it easy. You’d hope ICT could beat them and then it falls to us on the Friday.

By next Friday they will only have one game in hand. If we could be ahead after that match then means a close run in

Not strictly true that the GD is out of the equation just yet. We need a good win by 3 or 4 (and frankly Saturday and then home v Falkirk probably represent the best chances for that) while if County drop the points we need them to drop then that will have a natural negative effect on their GD concurrently. So that may yet narrow but agree that at the moment it’s points that make prizes and that is the absolute number one priority. BUT, if we get in a position in an upcoming game where we get two or three up with plenty time left, we have to go for the jugular rather than simply ‘seeing it out’ as opportunities to effect the GD have to be taken should they arise.

The goal difference won't be made up, no danger.
