I always thought the first GE was in 2002 under Dearden. Not sure 2006 counts.
Not sure how many Great Escapes there has been over the years. Obviously, there's been a few seasons where we've flirted with relegation, but this has to be the most recent 'proper' Great Escape? Will it be MK3 ?
GE1, where we stayed up on the last Day in L2 and Oxford went down instead
GE2, Derry in League 1, Sheehan pen away at Oldham on the last day
GE3?????????? Last day again?????? YES WE CAN DO IT!!!!

2002 was the first GE that was an incredible run at the back end of the season Caskey/Whitley in CM and we beat Huddersfield last game at ML.
Dearden a manager who I liked and did a good job in the circumstances.
No 'Great Escape' I'm afraid, more likely, 'A bridge too far' this time. On paper it looks pretty easy but in truth, these player just don't look up for it.
I have
Stevenage (A) Draw
Northampton (H) Win (Out of bottom 2)
Crewe (A) Draw
MK Dons (H) Loss
Crawley (A) Loss (Back in bottom 2)
Grimsby (H) Win (Level on points with 3rd bottom)
Swindon (A) Draw
W2 D3 L2
9 Points and I think it might come down to Yeovil v Carlise and Macclesfield v Cambridge. In Theory I feel we have the tougher of fixture, plus its away. I have us going down by 2 points.
