    Our record safe

Huddersfield can be relegated today, but our record of the fastest departure from the PL is still safe, perhaps by only one day

They have equalled our record of getting relegated after game #32 so we only share that one.

The 29th of March record is, IMO, an irrelevant one. Had our home game against Fulham been moved to the Sunday by Sky that would have been the 30th/ 31st for a Monday game. All down to the vaguaries of the televised game.

The game number is, IMO, more relevant and valid and one we now share with the Terriers.

Unfortunately it all comes down to points and all Huddersfield’s rapid relegation really reminds us is...how bloody dreadful we were last time around.

Still don’t think we - the club - have fully got over it...and the other thing is, with Huddersfield, Fulham and one of Burnley, Cardiff or Saints coming down and some very good clubs not escaping upwards, it’s going to be very very tough again next season.
