Add to that the 2 pens. Can not fault the likes of Butcher and Stanton when he was on. Stanton had one of his better games and there was a lot of good passing going through midfield. McMullan did well. Clark took goal well but not his best other than that.

It ended as one of those days but the number of chances created showed that on another day we could have buried QOS

We know that there was always a danger of an adverse resul sooner or later.

Of course we weren't going to win every game between now and end of season. Also, QoS were due a win. But I thought we'd have enough to get a draw at leas today. Losing at home to QoS at home when were supposedly challenging for the title is a poor, poor result.

But we're still in a good position to finish 2nd. However, if Ayr do us on TV yet again, we could have a real fight on our hands to keep a hold of 2nd.

County losing today and us not taking advantage hurts. But we can still go up. I think we'll make the play off final. And I think we'll win through in the end.

Shedka I know you always see positives in every United performance and granted we played pretty well first half. But our inadequacies in front of goal when on top will prevent us going up automatically or in the playoffs.
Hope to be proved wrong though.

Incredibly poor finishing today, mostly Pavol’s fault but others culpable too.

Not convinced that we will finish second, both Ayr and ICT capable of passing us on the run in as our bottle continues to crash.

    Shat ourselves again today.

Stanton did very well in the 1st half and was a touch unlucky to get subbed.

Personally I'd have subbed Butcher for tactical reasons only as
I felt we didn't need a defensive midfielder at that stage because we needed a goal.

I don't think there's much reason to overreact about today, we actually played quite well for the majority of the match. All this talk of 'sh1tting ourselves' and not having the balls etc is harsh.

We just lacked an out and out striker. If Safranko was a clinical finisher then we could easily have won by 3 or 4.

A couple of naive bits of defending, think Seaman causes us problems positionally. Can see why RN played him though, more attacking options.

100% correct. A total overreaction. We actually played better today than we did in any of our previous 3 games that we won.

If we'd have deserved to lose that today and totally never turned up then yeah play the "shat it" card but labelling it in that way today is more than harsh imo.

Something no right with Seaman as he is only a shadow of the player that came into the team in January. Must be a recurring injury that is holding him back as he has been in similar situations for us and done better.

However, RN should have realized our RB was about to be targeted and done a bit more to negate the threat.

It's inexperience. What is he 19? He actually had a decent 1st half but was poor position wise in the 2nd half and was exposed all too often.

Today's performance was much better than Tues and we lost! The game should have been put to bed in the first half. Poor finishing, lucky defending what ever the excuse we still lost!

Would have made 3 subs in a oner, when 2 - 0 down. Stanton unlucky but we needed Pawlett, Seaman a bit unlucky but Harkes did ok, and should have been Nesbitt (a natural attacker) for Robson, albeit not his natural position, he is neither fast enough or skilful as enough for an attacker.

Safranko, it just wasnt going to go in for him and I think he should have dropped back into Clarks (who isn't grafter or a 10) position and either Clark who can sniff out goals, up top or with Safranko in a 442.

United always show a reluctance to go for the jugular and ***** foot around too much. Neilson must take the blame for this.
