    Derby County Post Match Thoughts

As your clocks haven't changed yet, putting this up early as I have things to do. Would stay around and see if we can come back from 3-0 but even a bad back, 12 cubic yards of soil and a very small wheelbarrow seems more inviting than another 45 minutes of this. Did the experts who had us gaining just 1 more point this season have it right?

    Thoughts?

What do you expect with no investment, Tony Stewart's fault all the way. So much hard work put in to get back in the championship and now almost thrown away.

They'll be a statement put out that the money was always there and Warne saying he didn't see players that met his criteria blah blah bolox.

Completely agree with all of this. I have never encountered a club that as so wilfully thrown away an opportunity as RUFC have under Stewart. A couple of decent signings were all that was needed. Shameful.

Bringing in a decent £10,000 a week striker for the last 12 matches could have made all the difference. Apart from today, we only lose by the odd gaol and draw the rest.

It didn't have to be a million spent, just enough to help secure Championship status.

Not bringing in a striker and bringing in too many crocks is what has done us.

Momentum is against us now, firm favourites for relegation.

It’s looking that way sadly - need some firepower if we want to do well and sustain it

Just posted on match thread we’re not down yet.
Some twist and turns to come.
Let’s hope the players haven’t given in?
