    Bolton game in doubt

Because of their financial situation our game and others are in doubt.
What happens if the game is called off, are we awarded the 3 pts or do we miss out?

Not sure TD but the right outcome would be that any teams that have played them at their place have the fixture declared void and points amended where applicable.

Sad times in football for an old and famous club

Apparently the University of Bolton Stadium has been issued with a Prohibition Notice due to safety fears.

So as it stands at present games against Ipswich on Saturday and Middlesbrough next Tuesday will be played in an empty ground. No mention of their remaining games against Villa and Brentford.

However, EFL do not allow matches being played behind closed doors unless for a disciplinary reason but it maybe they would relent to allow Bolton to complete their 4 remaining home games.

If it does go pear shaped I believe all the championship teams will have their results against Bolton expunged and their points adjusted.

Obviously things may change between now and Saturday.
