    Today’s programme notes

JN bizarre notes in the programme today

    As posted on TDBs...

Frustration. We are all feeling it. Seasons like this feels like everything is against you…injuries, on-field decisions, SFA inconsistencies, etc. These are not excuses, but it does make you ask the question: Why do we do what we do? Why do we go to the games? Why do we support this team? When we came to Dundee, we were told that the state of affairs within Scottish football was, “No one likes us, we don't care.” We took this this with a grain of salt, but still today - in some cases - it still seems ring true.
So why do we do what we do, and how? We trust that in everything we do, our belief is to challenge the existing state of affairs. We believe in accelerative thinking, exceeding historic boundaries, and ultimately achieving sustained excellence. How we do this is by providing a stable and safe platform for individuals to challenge their boundaries, push their limits and realize their potential. This is the fundamental basis of how we run the organization. Through the implementation of this belief the Club is stronger in every department. We have increased revenue streams and introduced new ones. The media department is recognized as one of the best in the country. The Academy is strong, stable, and the first young group of players that we brought in are challenging for first team football. We raise thousands of pounds for our charity partners each year. All departments are in much better shape than when we arrived. Any and all funds that are beyond the budget and reported losses are spent solely on the football department. Yet we are still frustrated. We have brought in three managers. Two with little experience, backing them based on how we do things, providing a stable and safe platform. We desperately wanted them to both to succeed but for various reasons they ultimately did not. Now we have Jim at the helm. Much more experience and the data shows that he is the best person to lead Dundee. We have and will continue to provide him and the players the platform to be successful. It is frustrating right now, but we believe that positively supporting is the only way to get through this season safely. It is difficult to do, but we are the only ones that can do it. We are Dundee Football Club: No one likes us, and we don't care.
Thank you to all who support the Club unconditionally each week, home and away, especially during these frustrating times while we continue to build our exceptional Club. Let’s raise our voices for the next 90 minutes and carry our team to a positive result. COME ON DUNDEE!!

A lot of artists in the entertainment industry do their most creative work whilst oot their pus.....John Nelms has been very creative with the above work of fiction.....make of that what you want.

    Frustrations....nope abject apathy.

    These are not excuses......they are

Why do we support this team.....we don't as season tic sales will reveal

    Acceleratitive thinking......nae idea

Exceeding historic boundaries.....give him that, most pathetic relegation ever.

    The media dept.....😁😁😂

    Charity.....cudnt give a flying ****

    McIntyre.....what ****ing data.

No one likes us we don't care.....that's the problem Mr Nelms the Dee support is long past caring and you and your incompetent staff have presided over thousands walking away.

SUPER tommy and his troops need to get their fingers out,im sure if the irish results wernt online until 3 days after the draw then i wouldnt be doing it again.

no such thing nowadays as blind loyalty, people pay money so they want to see the results on the day not 3 days later
