The New Bazaar Doonhamers presented Sir Stephen with their player of the year award at a function on Saturday - 5 times he has won this now and when the last home game comes round on 4th May he must be odds - on to pick up a few more.

Dobbs obviously the POTY year but special mentions to Doyle . We must re-sign this versatile 'warriior'. I would make him captain as he is the type that can get everyone rallying together in what will be another smallish Qos squad next season. As I've probably said before , I can see a bit of Steven Bowey and Stevie Mallan in him commitment wise . Most improved player for me is Mercer . Glad for the boy and he has took stick and came out the other end. Todd was having an excellent season until he got injured and would have been right up there for me if he hadn't got hurt.

On a slightly different note, Low has been a complete waste of time. Plays one game and then off injured for about 4 . No good to us.

Dobbie is the obvious choice with his goals and the way he carries the front line but Doyle has to be a close second. Just a brilliant player and definitely should be captain.

Not sure it's Lows fault he's injured. We took a gamble signing a injury prone player and it backfired.
