My main concern for the play offs is lack of intensity in the weeks prior, ok ICT and Ayr will be the same but will have the two leg tie with each other first

Was hoping we'd have something to play for to the final game, which would mean only a week and half before the 1st leg since we had a meaningful game

Instead will be more like a month since a high intensity match by time the 1st leg for us

Livi were pretty well in the same boat last season mate and did no bad. I’m just grateful we’ve secured second. Coming out after the Coonty 5-1 I thought we were going down again.

Fair shout. Worth remembering we started the season with csaba as manager, in the starting line up were likes of Murdoch, Rabitsch and Barton

We are now well clear in second which shows that post csaba team has done well. This is decent side now and we have a good chance in play offs

Don’t think the gap in playing is a problem. All focus will be on play offs. First play off match will be about 10 days after the Morton match.

If we get through semi then will be 4 matches in 10 days to decide our season.

    Never dull

Would rather have 4 games in 11 days than 6 games in 19 days, intensity or no intensity. 6 games in 19 days is too much for these sissy's.

My biggest concern regarding the play offs is that it's taken us all season to figure out how to beat Ayr and ICT. Every time we think we've turned the corner the team has failed to deliver. We need to build on the current momentum and give ourselves the best chance possible of getting up, but please no more bottle crashes or daft statements in the DFC Thomson media.

I agree. Keeping the momentum going is key. Robbie has said he will rest players in last couple of games, but I don't think he'll be taking to many risks in terms of the team getting 3 points. He'll be demanding total focus I'm sure.

If we can finish with 2 wins that will set the squad up nicely for a well earned wee rest whilst 3rd and 4th fight it out. We'll be watching both potential opponents very closely over the next 3 weeks.

Time to bring this club's greater resources to bear and prepare for this the best we can. If, at the end of the day, we fail. At least we will have given it our best shot.

We must win the play-offs this season. It is a disgrace that the fine City of Dundee has one team in the Championship. It is unbearable to think that it could have two. I think that scenario only happened very briefly when the Shed were last relegated? I can suffer a single team in the City, but in the Premier League, should one go bust. Two in the Championship is only a slight upgrade on Brechin and Montrose.

i’m a Dee and if I had to pick a team to play in the play offs it would 100% be st mirren.the only reason we aren’t officially relegated is they are nearly as bad as us.hamilton know how to negotiate play offs/relegation better than most teams due to being in that position every season.

Anybody wanting Hamilton in the playoff final is a f*cking idiot.
As Terry said the reason they play on plastic alone should be enough of a reason, plus they seem the only team capable of having that one game where they play waaaaaay above there level.
