It was the defense and midfield that gifted Southampton the ball over and over again and put themselves in bad position. Traore was only on the last half hour and we were already down at that point. He’s a one trick pony, but he at least tried better than most today IMO

A poor start conceding so early with the Redmond first goal, too casual at the back, no one picking up the scorer's run. After that i thought up until and including Boly's goal that we played our best football, but time and again we let both Sims and Redmond come at us. Redmond won't get two goals put on a plate for him as he did yesterday. Poor from Wolves again.

At 2-1 and bar Jiminez's wayward effort that was it from Wolves. Basic communication lacking on the part of the Wolves defence for the third, trying to play offside, Traore has to get out when the rest do, but Shane Long left all alone.

Wolves at the back looked unbalanced, Saiss, a left footed player playing on the right side of a three man central defensive set-up, he always looked to get on his left foot. Southampton played Wolves on the break, just waiting for Wolves to make mistakes, and we obliged. The final score was 3-1, but in reality it could and should've been more.

A Wembley hangover or not, our away form has dipped and our record against the likes of Cardiff, Huddersfield and now Southampton away doesn't leave a lot to be desired.
