Not sure how to post links so that may not work. Now I'm not personally involved in the collection of such data and wouldn't claim to be an expert. I know there have been some criticism of specific aspects of the way such data is collated, including it only being certain companies that are required to submit data and the can use percentages instead of actual amounts. There will also be situations where there is an "affirmative action" effect. But football is still in the dark ages in this country in so many ways. Des McKeown gets a job with the BBC and the Sun despite having no real football career, having no charisma or ability to use the English language and once asking somebody on air "why did you do what you did to do what you do?" and that's fine. BBC gives the current Women's Scotland Manager who qualified for the World Cup and the all time record goal scorer a gig as pundits and they are only given it because they're women?

Whatever way you dress it up they've been given the job because of the PC world we live in today... I'm not saying the achievement of taking the women's team to the world cup or being the country's top scorer is not to be applauded but let's face it...a boys under 15 team would beat any women's international team any day of the week
