I see Falkirk have slashed their gate prices to £10 for adults and £5 concessions. Wonder if the other teams might follow suit to get as many fans there to support!

Queens have tried this before, there is too much apathy in Dumfries towards Queens to make it work.

it would work for the partick game last day of season as that would be a great escape day for both teams ,but you would have to make it a fiver for adults as 90% of the dumfries public have gave up on queens ,and il tell you where it all went wrong it was around 2011 ,queens had built up a forward thinking momentum and the dumfries public were standing up and taking notice queens were talked about everywhere , davy rae trying his best to keep queens going forward and when he needed help from his fellow directors thay snubbed him davy rae wanted to pump in cash and said to the others he would pump in so much and if the others could match it queens could move forward but none did and queens nearly went tits up ,after that happened the dumfries public lost all that enthusiasm for queens and slowely thay ebbed away realising that thay were just a lower league club with no ambition ,to get the dumfries public showing intersest in queens agian it will take something on the scale queens showed between 2006 and 2011 ,ambitious club looking to be always going forward ,that is the minimum requirement to get the dumfries public talking about queens again and we all know what kinda funding that needs and so must the directors ,if we keep going down the live withing the clubs income structure we will keep going backwards its as simple as that and before any goody too shues people add there and how do queens pay for that ,i havnt a clue under our current regime ,but thats what it will take to get the public back talking about queens again .

fans like aloreburn who think reality statements like that are comedy gold are the reason queens will never be a big club ,that statement hits the nail right on the head why the dumfries public havnt got any interest anymore in queens and it shows what it would take to get them talking up queens again .
