How many times do we all do this eh as fans, we make guesses as to what looks like the easier or harder games at this stage of the season. And things dont quite go to plan most of the time do they, a few surprises pop up here and there lol.
I remember we/Barnsley had to play away at Plymouth on Boxing day of all days, at the end of 1990. What a disgusting fixture to give us eh, on a festive day like that. Damn the FL fixture thingy.

Acido, I've just asked my wife if she can remember me going to that game in Plymouth. Her reply was bitter! I have now recalled - with her help - that I dropped her and the kids half-way, at my parents' house in Gloucester.
She also said I was probably travelling further than the Blackburn-based fans, so I checked and she was right: 325 miles against 305 miles. I'd never have spotted that.
As for predictions, you're correct. Our next opponents, QPR, have had a terrible run, but their two league victories in 2019 have been against Leeds and Swansea.
In that time, they've lost to Wigan, Rotherham and Bolton.
No wonder the bookies come out on top in the long run!

I see a man has been charged with racially aggravated assault and is in custody at Barnsley Bridewell. I wonder who it is .

The mystery man has not been charged as I previously posted but detained, I presume the evidence will be evaluated by the Crown Prosecution Service and I await the next stage. Meanwhile a Mr Barton vehemently denies the allegations that he was responsible. Not for the first time as I recall.

Joey won't be able to drive for six months after pleading guilty to two speeding raps .
