I was listening to an interview with the Sunderland owner and the topic of a new badge came up, something their fans have been pushing for. He said the cost of re-branding would go a significant way to paying a player, so he couldn't justify it. That's a club with zero debt and has a regular attendance of 30,000 fans. If they can't justify it, I don't see how Notts could financially - no matter who the new owners are.

Totally different regime now. One that has learned from the financial wastefulness of the previous owner - shame Notts can't say the same.

If the new owners had to write down a priority list of 100 things that need investment, I’m guessing a new badge would be 101.
