They're hardly Marxists, you should do some actual reading before chucking words like that around. Modern socialism as an idea is arguably the best outcome for everybody (who isn't stinking rich), whatever class you come from. Better hospitals and health care, a tax system that demands the rich pay their way etc.. Marxism is different, it has elements of socialism in it's philosophy, but tends to veer too far in a certain direction and makes things unsustainable.

Although if there was a choice between you and Karl Marx being in charge, I know who I'd vote for and it's not you, sorry Joe!

Loads of people (politicians and even posters on here) have compared the EU to Nazi Germany, the USSR and so on.

We could have a tit for tat argument about who of remainers or leavers are the nicest fellows, or who's got the biggest petition, OR we could debate some actual important stuff.

Or better still give it a rest because after hours and hours and pages and pages of debate on here nobody knows what will happen if we stay in or come out.

Nothing is wrong with being stinking rich. The problem is, most of these people don't pay their taxes and keep money in off shore accounts, which in turn, affects our economy. Our NHS could be helped out and rejuvenated if these people paid their way. But they don't, because they all have private healthcare and they don't care about normal working class people. People like you and me suffer because of this Joe. Don't defend the people who are dicking us over.

Some statistics about that. It costs about 2 billion a year, roughly 500 million of which is recoverable.

The majority of the cost comes from visitors from non-EU countries and therefore won't be change much on account of leaving the EU.
