Imo we have missed him, if he’s still going to be fit enough (no injury crisis) then I’d rather we give him an extra contract than Towell

Agreed Towell makes a lot of wrong choices with the ball.If Semi does leave in the summer we will need a holding Mid.

If it was Harry Potter then great but it's Darren Potter injury specialist. We will need some one who is capable of playing a few games before he's on his sickbed.

I don’t recall pulling up any trees with potter in the side in league one last season, infact I’d even go as far as saying when Vaulks came on for him at Bristol rovers it was the start of our promotion push. Don’t get what you lot see in him. For me let him go, Towell as well although if we were to drop down to league one I would try and keep Towell.

I've said this on different threads about towell making wrong choices when on the ball this season, but to be fair to him he's not the only one. Personally I wouldn't offer him a contract at end of season whatever division we are in.

Given what has happened over the previous two injury-plagued seasons, surely it would only be a "pay-as-you-play" contract at most? It would be crazy otherwise???

Would he get in the team at the moment though? Can't see his dislodging any of the midfielders and certainly not Semi
Possibly he might get on the pitch due to Injuries or as a late sub to hold the back line if we,re winning

League one next season, yes I would offer him a new contract for a year but, would he take one year?

If we stay up then no, we should be looking for more youth with a lot more to offer in progressing with us.
