If Raffa does sign a new contract I hope it's because he's confident that he knows something that we don't know about a positive sale of the club to some straight honest, dependable owner(s)

That's more likely Jammy but Ashley's guarantees, even if considered cast iron will only be as good and as honest as Ashley is himself. And we all know what a twisting, conniving liar he's been so regularly in the past. Something like leopards and spots.
