7th last season, probably finish 14th this season for obvious reasons. No fretting here, I am very confident of a top ten finish next season.

We have money in the bank, we have 2 or 3 more youngsters coming through, we will undoubtedly sell a few disposable playing assets. All looks good to me!

Yes Everyone knows we have/Should have money in the Bank.?

    But Will it be used?

We Got away with it, this season Bt,..But for Dwight McNeil , Taylor and Westwood all coming together at the right time,..We could have been in Deep Sh!te

Will he sell ....McNeil or others?...Probably if the price is right. unfortunately ,..Then back to the We are Burnley We only Have Ten Bob to spend.

Failure from the board to strengthen last time does not fill me with any confidence Jon, this Rigg fella for me is just a smoke screen, as I've said he did nowt at Man City, Fulham and Q P R, his PR since he's been here has been all talk about a new system that Brentford have been using for a while now, the Crouch "strengthens us" comment should have been enough for all to realise he's a complete Dick Head who is another waste of money for the Club.

Another year on and more players need replacing for age or not being good enough, Lowton, Bardsley, Hart, Wells, Hendrick, Lennon, D4, Crouch, Brady and a few more need outing which has been made much harder by doing buggar all in the last window

The postitivity on this board is something to behold.
I wonder how you would react if something really serious happened and had to be dealt with.
It is easy to run a football club when you are not the people responsible for making the decisions, however, it is just about opinions until you are in the hot seat ---as my cousin once was!

Yes, Alto I understand the sentiments Re Rigg,..The Brentford strategy was always sell for the best price.
Hardly fills me with confidence .
We live in hope I suppose.

To be honest Sub,.It doesen"t really matter who is in the hot seat, Your Cousin or Dick Turpin, if none are capable of making any forward decisions ,...Your Cousin probably had his hands tied, Re any incoming signings because of low turnover,..However Garlic does not have that excuse, The cash is there, or should be,.Nobody is talking about betting the ranch, as Mr Kilby used to say,...But a calculated gamble surely now could be considered.?

Worryingly £30million is being muted in the media for McNeil. I'm already preparing the quickest Terrier taxi...

Jon makes a good point in post 1, the promoted teams look likely to be quite strong next season. A lot depends on the Board, the manager, the players etc. but it always helps when one or two other teams implode, and they usually do. This season neither Huddersfield nor Fulham have really been in the relegation battle, they relegated themselves months ago, the only battle has been to keep out of 18th. Next season whichever of Cardiff or Brighton survive look likely to struggle, but I don't see any likely basket cases amongst the rest, it could be a real scrap at the bottom, I really don't think we can afford to stand still again.
