Noticed that the writer of our iconic “Marching on together “ song, Les Reed , died the other day aged 80+. He penned “ Its not unusual” and “Delilah” for Tom Jones and “The last waltz “ for Englebert Humperdinck which was at no 1 for six weeks. As Leeds fans we surely owe the man a great amount of gratitude for a song that is unique to our great club and will be a testament to a great songwriter every time it’s sung before each home game. R.I.P Les and thanks.
