Well I'm in to my second week at my new job and feck me I'm struck down with the most hideous of heavy colds bordering on flu that I've picked up in a decade .
Had to go though haven't I , it doesn't look good off sick on the second week of a new job and on your probation .
Just got home from work at 5pm and straight to bed for 3 days this week I felt that shocking .
Thank the feck it was a short week .
Of course today I'm feeling much better , not 100% mind but past myself fit to attend this afternoon , don't think I can face a few pints but I'll be there .
The truth is nothing was going to stop me from going at this stage of the proceedings , two kin broken legs wouldn't have stopped me .
