Just looked at the table and again not sure if another forward/goalscorer was the panacea we needed. We have scored more goals than all our rivals in the bottom 6 and we've even scored more than Middlesbrough who look likely to be in the playoffs.

    Defensive coach needed?

Concede far too many to stay up, that's for sure. Are we too vulnerable on the flanks? Would like to know statistically, where we are most vulnerable. Losing possession in dangerous situations? Or simply this being one quality step too far for a group of hard working players?

    I would say certainly.

Our fullbacks get far too much pressure because tackles aren’t being made in the midfield areas in front of them.

Newell, Williams, Taylor and Forde haven’t got a tackle in them.

We talked about this nearly 2 years ago.

Warne said: “I don’t think I need that, I am really happy with all of my coaches, they are excellent,” he said. “It’s not that we aren’t giving the lads information, at times they just switch off and unfortunately players in League One do.

People make mistakes and consistency is harder the further you go down, so no way do I need a new defensive coach.”

That’s a fact CAM, unfortunately factual information doesn’t count on here.
Conceded too many goals once again, much the same as previous seasons.

Lack of a clinical goalscorer has been a major factor though as there have been so many chances missed.

Maybe, but where would you have played him?

    Who would he replace?

Every club wants a 20 goal clinical goal scorer, they come at a premium.
£1m in the Championship is “ peanuts “ to some clubs unfortunately to us it’s not.
Build from the back and stop conceding too many goals would be a starter.

Without any research I bet there have been 6 games where we've conceeded late (last 5 mins and injury time) that have cost us either a win or draw. The swing has lost us the best part of 12 points. We've got ourselves in very good positions in many games that, if seen out, would see us out of the bottom 3.
