Just wasn't meant to be today I guess. Disappointing though.

I'm disappointed that we didn't come away with all three points. Brighton may get knocked for their style of play, but they defended well and their keeper Ryan did well when called upon. For all our possession, Jota hitting both the bar in the first half and then the post in the second half was as good as it got. It was one of those games where could still be playing now and wouldn't score all night.

We seem to play better against the so called top sides, but against the likes of Brighton, we have created plenty of chances in the two games this season, but we couldn't put the ball in the net. Hopefully we will be able to put a chance or two away against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

If we are to improve we must find a way of beating sides that set up defensively, even if it means a change of formation. It has become our achilles heel this season.

So right. Take the thir**** points away that we have taken from the top six and we would have 35 points and in a relegation scrap. Points of the top six next season will be harder to get.
