    Perez Number 9

Perez is now not only our top scorer for season (currently) with 11 goals.

He is also into our top 10 for goals scored in premier league.

He sits at number 9 with 31 in premier league, chasing down Rob Lee on 34 next.

    Top 10:
    1 - Shearer 148
    2 - Beardsley 47
    3/4 - Shola 43
    3/4 - Cole 43
    5 - Ferdinand 41
    6/7 - Cisse 37
    6/7 - Solano 37
    8 - Lee 34
    9 - Perez 31
    10/11 - Speed 29
    10/11 - Ba 29

Rest of the list is long but down to 20 goes:

    12 - Martins 28
    13 - Bellamy 27
    14 - Owen 26
    15 - Dyer 23
    16 - Robert 22
    17 - Cabaye 17
    18/19 - Carroll 14
    18/19 - Remy 14
    20 - Ben Arfa 13

Then 21 is Nolan, Taylor (Steven) and Ruel Fox on 12 goals.

Done very well these last few months and I called him as much as anyone but he has firmly rammed my words down my throat.
Also the 11 goals for the season, the same as a certain Mr Mitrovic who apparently according to a few wise owls we should have kept and made a big mistake in getting rid of.So if he is worth 20 odd million, what is Ayoze worth?

Well Perez has 4 assists as well, which Mitro doesn't

So that should be taken into account as well. . .

Also, Perez runs his arse off most games getting back and defending as well.

I think this season has proven that Rafa was right in letting Mitro be sold.

He looks a lot stronger. He's definitely wiser and more confident about his game and himself, it appears.

Assuming Perez stays here and has next season on a par with the second half of this season then he could finish up second only to Big Al.
